Predictive systems already make decisions about people: when a machine will fail, when a patient needs care, how a customer will behave. This project asked whether the researchers building those systems are in conversation with the researchers defining trustworthy AI. We mapped both fields and found they barely touch, with ethics sitting entirely on one side. An organisation should have this kind of evidence before it builds or buys predictive AI: a clear view of who in the field is asking how people are affected. Explore the interactive version below.
